About the Club

The Kingston upon Hull Hockey Club was formed through an idea from Hull City Council who required a Hockey Club to be formed to use the new all-weather facility they were building at the Kingston Communications Circle. Hull (Welton) Men's Hockey Club and Welton Ladies Hockey were first asked to form the Club in 1999.

In 2001 Hull YPI Hockey Club was asked to join the amalgamation. This has led to the Club being formed with 6 Men's Teams, 5 Ladies Teams, 4 Mixed Teams and various Junior Teams. The Club will be up and running for the 2002-2003 season with the sponsorship of Hull City Council.
